Kenya, The Home to World's many First.
Kenya, the home to the world’s many first.
Undoubtedly Kenya has its own fair share of social, economic and political problems, but we are also trailblazers in our own right and when all is said and done, we deserve a mention amongst the world’s league of the nation where ingenious ideas of life had and is still coming from.
Times are many where the world looked at us sympathetically and even wondered if we could indeed manage to pull ourselves back from the abyss and we’ve constantly proved them wrong because like every human society we have always had our issues but we’ve not only managed our issues but came out of it better and sure enough the world respected us for it, because we are indeed the world’s home to many first.
Just this Morning the world was treated to the spectacular rare occurrence where one eliud kipchoge broke his own record.
The eliud kipchoge ineos 159 came to pass this morning, he said “ no human is limited” limit only exist in our mind and if we decolonise our mind, its unimaginable what human can achieve.
Indeed there is nothing we can’t achieve if we only put our minds to and the feat that kipchoge realised is enough proves of human kind unlimited ability.
This unimaginable feat can only be possible with a Kenyan and this kind of dream can only be born in Kenya because we like testing the limits of human potential, its after all the statement of who we are as attested to by many feats and ingenuity we developed and exported to the world .
Who gave the world the mpesa, the electronic money transfer system which literally revolutionised how we do our business and made life lot more easier because we could do almost everything at the touch of the button.
We are the only nation on the face of planet earth with a national park in its capital city and courtesy of this lions are once in a while allowed the opportunity to freely mingle with the nnairobians.
The nation that gave the world barrack Hussein Obama and lupita nyong’o, all rising from very humble background and making it to the world’s hall of fame, if this isn’t demonstration of Kenya’s unlimited human spirit, then I don’t know what is.
We’ve gone out and conquered many of the world’s biggest stage but we aren’t done yet because the world is yet to see the very best of us, what is happening is only but a tip of the iceberg and therefore much more awestrucking moments await the world and Kenya should be allowed to take it’s much deserved first seat and place of honour.

I am a proud Kenyan and many more world breaking records to us. Kipchonge is our hero for putting us in map once again!

No human is limited
We need to be proud of our own. Today I came across a tweet of a Mzungu hater commenting on Kipchoge win he stated as follow:
ReplyDelete"When your practice consists of running from lions and tigers - you’re bound to become fast" .
Let's learn to appreciate the efforts of our own because no one else will.
Well put my brother
DeleteNostalgia at its best and been listening to Redsan's"proud to be Kenyan "....
ReplyDeleteThis is our home and we've got to be proud of our everything. No one else will celebrate us better than we will do it ourselves
DeleteWe have lot to proud of than what forces us to look down upon yourself with guilt and shame.
ReplyDeleteWe therefore need to properly harness our strength and use it to amplify this nation's strong points.
Good Morning
Am proud to be a Kenyan
ReplyDeleteDiba, You have made me laugh my heart out on this part, "lions are once in awhile allowed the opportunity to freely mingle with the Nairobians". 😂
yes indeed, the only in the world where lion could come knocking on your door
DeleteWe can only be proud to be Kenyan. We are on the forefront for all the good things. You know what am saying!
ReplyDeleteKenya is a wonderful country...We would be on top of the World if we do 2 things: 1) Eliminate Corruption and 2) Slay the dragon of negative ethnicity! Well done Kipchoge! Proudly Kenyan...
ReplyDeletewell put but on this corruption part, i guess we've got to learn to continue living with it
